School is entirely finished, the tests are in, the grades are hopefully being posted soon, and I am home free until the first weekend in September. I can't tell you how good that feels. After a rough semester like this one, I need the break and the chance to develop my routine again. I need no pressing concerns, no big events, just some day in and day out activities that will make the summer fun.
My work schedule is 8-5, Monday through Friday, every single week all summer long. Holly has pretty much the same schedule over at Scrapbook Trends, and that means we don't have to worry about being busy during the evenings anymore. Neither one of us will be taking classes during the summer, so we can work, play, and relax.
I'm looking forward to a summer filled with fun projects both around the house and with Conquer Club. I spoke with Justin for about three hours the other day about CC projects, and we have hammered out some interesting details on how to move things along. I'm really excited for the direction that the tournament portion of the website will be taking, and hopefully I can be a big part of some fun improvements.
As far as at home is concerned, I would like to continue practicing and improving my newly acquired and developing web design skills. I only know the very basics of javascript, and it is still a bit troublesome for me, so some practice is probably in order. I'm trying to think of some good ideas for websites to begin designing for practice, as well as some ideas for web hosting so I can keep the websites online and not just saved as a file on my jump drives. If anyone has any good ideas, let me know.
