Musically Inclined

Am I musically inclined? Of course not. Do I like to listen to music? Yes, as a matter of fact I do.

Tonight I got home a bit early from work because LauraLee and I decided we didn't feel like staying at work any longer today after 0 phone calls and 0 visitors in the office today. I had rearranged all of the stuff on my desk, updated all of my tournaments, and dealt with several other projects. By that time we were incredibly bored and figured it wasn't going to get any better given that it was graduation today.

So, I walked myself home because I had expected to be at work, and everyone else was off supporting Rick and Shelley with graduation activities. By the time I got here I had decided just to take it easy and so I found myself browsing the iTunes store, looking at the Top 100 songs list. It has been a really long time since I have listened to the radio in a regular fashion, so I listened to probably 30 or 40 sample clips as I went down the list. Mostly I focused on artists I had heard of, and some that had interesting titles.

I wound up downloading a couple of songs to add to my collection, but they are all songs I have already heard several times on television performances, or during the few brief moments I listen to the radio (like I said, it isn't often).

It's always a bit weird when I am looking for some new music and I wind up attracted to the cheesy Disney pop songs, but what can I say, at least they are catchy. I guess it really isn't surprising coming from a guy who owns every Hilary Duff album there is to have.
