The Return of Television

So, the strike by the Writer's Guild really threw my television watching into a bit of a funk over the past couple of months. I really wish that hadn't happened because it meant getting totally out of practice with watching shows at certain times of the week and having a good time while doing so.

Luckily, American Idol was just starting its season, so I have had that to watch, and Big Bang Theory (greatest sitcom EVER) returned a couple of weeks ago. That has given me at least a bit of respite from the boredom of lame new game shows and reality television.

It seems that almost every show on TV will be returning in the next 7 days or so, and that means that tonight we get to enjoy the return of The Office, which so many of us enjoy on a regular basis. It has been a long time since we had a new episode, and Holly is just dying to have another Office party this evening. I'm sure the apartment will be packed with family and friends as they come over to witness 30 minutes of Micheal, Dwight, Pam, and Jim. Will it be worth it? I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Unluckily for me, I will be spending a majority of the evening catching up on some code in HTML and CSS, so I may not get to enjoy the festivities as much as I would like. That's okay though, only 3 more days of class, and then finals. It's almost over for this semester and then I can enjoy the summer.
