Gmail Themes

When I finally made the switch over to Gmail for good a few weeks back due to the ridiculousness that is now Windows Live and Windows Hotmail and their email client, my chief complaint was the fact that Gmail looked so boring, and that as a user there was nothing you could do about it. The color scheme always seemed childish and outdated to me, and it was a major turnoff.

Yesterday, that all changed. I was in the middle of Russell's class, looking to get to my Google Documents and add a few notes about the code we were working on and as I signed into Gmail to get there I discovered that they had released the new "Themes" setting which allows you to change what your email screen looks like.
