Breast Cancer Cookies

At Grandma Chatfield's house for dinner this last week we had some delicious food and then settled down to eat dessert. Holly, Shelley, and Julie had made Derby Pies the night before, so of course we had some of that there, but Shelley also brought a package of cookies with her to supplement the pie. In that package was this:


Yes, that's right, cookies with Breast Cancer Awareness sprinkles on top. Now, why on earth would anyone even think to put those kinds of sprinkles on the cookies is beyond me, but I had a really hard time grasping the entire concept. I know that cancer awareness is a good thing, don't get me wrong, but really, on the cookies?

I just don't get it.
